Greg Norman Golf Course Design

Harley has been with the Greg Norman Golf Course Design Sydney office since 2000. He is involved with Australian and in particular the Asian projects where he has some 16 years of experience. Recent completed projects include tthe 'Norman Course' at Mission Hills Golf Club in China and  Settlers Run Golf & Country Club in Cranbourne, Melbourne.

With degrees in Horticulture (Burnley1986) and Landscape Architecture (RMIT 1989) , Melbourne born Harley Kruse commenced his path towards a career in golf course architecture in 1989 with the firm of Ross Perrett Pty Ltd soon to evolve into Thomson Wolveridge & Perrett headed by 5 times British Open champion Peter Thomson. After 8 years in the Melbourne office, Harley headed to new horizons of China in 1997 - 1999 to successfully deliver two new golf course projects. Seeking this valuable on-site experience allowed him to develop further the detailed craft of design and construction of golf courses.

Harley is committed to the environmental and ecological potential of golf courses and has delivered a paper on the subject. A member the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, Harley resides in Sydney.
