Urbis

Thad was born in Thailand. He graduated with Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1984 from Chulalongkorn University; the first in South East Asia to offer this curriculum. He later migrated to Australia and completed his Master of Landscape Architecture from Melbourne University in 1987.

In his capacity as a landscape architect and the past president of the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA) designing large scale public parks, boutique hotels, spas resorts together with golf residential, he played a key role in promoting the profession as well as the academic contribution with various universities in Thailand. He was an organizing committee for the International Federation of Landscape Architects World Congress (IFLA) in Bangkok and the Exhibition Director responsible for the first 'Thai Landscape and Garden Show' in Thailand.

Thad is a Registered Landscape Architect with The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AAILA) and before qualifying as a provisional member with SAGCA, he was heavily involved in the design of numerous golf courses in Thailand, China, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia under the employment and guidance of Thomson Perrett.

Thad is a qualified translator in English and Thai languages with NAATI and fluent in Mandarin. He is the Principal Landscape Architect at Urbis and is leading the company's interest in landscape and golf course landscape opportunities.
