What we do

Members Services

The Society of Australian Golf Course Architects members are involved in all aspects of golf course design work on new and existing golf course in Australia and Internationally. Clients range from development companies, new golf clubs, existing golf clubs, golf course operators and local government.

New Golf Course Design Work

The design of new courses in Australia from 9 hole courses through to 18-hole resort and championship courses has historically been for golf clubs and local governments. This type of work continues to this day as clubs look to expand or move to new locations.

In addition the past 10-20 years has seen developers of resorts and real estate realise the benefits of creating resorts and housing communities master planned around golf courses.

SAGCA members are involved in the design and construction of new courses right from the beginning until completion.
